I love a good book and a sunny day. I'm working on my first novel. I freelance, mostly about travel, food and literature.

Favorite Books, Authors, Writers:

Right now, I'm reading "Do the Windows Open?" by Julie Hecht, a collection of related short stories. Next on the list is "Housekeeping" by Marilyn Robinson.

Some of my life-long favorites include "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith and three short stories: "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, "A Clean Well-Lighted Place" by Hemingway and "Sexy" by Jhumpa Lahiri.

Its a chapter book meant for 8-10 year olds, but I'd like to include some illustrations (I know that's tough). Still trying to figure out what all is happening on this site. My brother Ulrich Boser just published "The Gardner Heist" I don't know if you know it/have read it.
