Hey gang

NaNoWriMo has commenced, so I won’t be critiquing for the month of November. Depending on how involved I become, I may not be back until sometime in the beginning of 2010.

Keep on writing.

Hello. =) VisionPool here.

I'm currently working on a piece, but I have other work stored on my computer that I don't currently have access to. I'm in a bind right now and I am not able to get to them and add them to the Internet. I'm composing the piece that I'm working on via my email account. I'm afraid it won't be done for a long time, as I am about to lose the computer access where I am here. I don't have my computer hooked up yet and I'm using someone else's computer right now, but within a few days, they are going to be leaving their place of abode and they will be taking their laptop with them for a long time, so I will not have any way to communicate on the Internet. This person also has a desktop computer as well, but I'm not allowed to use it.

If I can get it completely fast enough, I would love to share with you all a story series that I'm working on called "Perfect Machines". It will take me some time to get it completed and I may not be able to get it posted on here any time soon. My circumstances aren't so good right now.

Hi Christopher, no, I don't have a picture in mind right now...I used to be in a writer's group on the msn place and hotmail closed it down. We had weekly challenges based on pictures. at the beginning of each month, there were 5 pictures posted, one for every week and an extra one and people had to write a story based on the pictures. I miss that kind of challenges, i used to write one story per week and sometimes more; now I'm quiet for lack of challenges. I know I could just fish out a picture from google but it's not quite the same if I look for it, the challenge goes out of the window, lol.

and for Andrew: and we all lived happily ever after! : )

Hey people!
This groups 61st member. I've 'published' my first story on here and as of the 25th July, it's the last entry in the Short Story Critique list.
Doing my senior year of high school, intend to do a dual degree, Engineering/Literature. Tough combo, but I'll be okay.
A friend of mine started reading a couple of rough drafts of cathartic stories that were never supposed to see the light of day, and he suggested that I start writing some stories to be published. His dad is a lit-mag editor; I'm just trying to improve my creative writing skills in hopes of writing something that the dad won't be able to decline. And shortly afterwards, my novellas will be translated into big budget feature films starring Brad Pitt and Winona Ryder, and I'll live happily ever after.

Dragoness, good idea. Do you have a challenge that you would like send out? I can think of a couple of good ones. If you don't have one I'll make one and see how the response goes.

Thanks again for the great idea.

I usually write a story a week, lately I've been kind of quiet as I usually need a kick to get started and I can't find that kick. Do you guys have weekly challenges based on pictures or on a theme? that would be great.

Hi - I'm Richard and don't have any writing experience of note but have written two small stories and one poem which are hidden on my laptop and when I pluck up the courage I will submit them here for you to comment on. Cheers
