I checked out Kindle and Mobipocket and decided to add Lethal Knowledge for digital sale. Here's my links for Kindle and Mobipocket, I believe they came out pretty good.
I am interested to see how your sales go (optimistic). Stephen King had an amazing, overnight success with "Riding The Bullet" some years back. I hope you have some success too. Please keep us all up to date.
I went the same route to Kindle and Amazon for my first work. The novella short form seemed like a better fit for digital than paper books (and saves trees). I believe this media is at the takeoff point of the S-Adoption curve. Haven't tried mobipocket yet and would like your experience with it. My expectations were also low given I'm new and zero marketing - did this for the experience. This is only my first week and getting a couple sales a day so far. One suggestion - get a couple friends who reviewed your work to publish a short 1-2 line review on Amazon.
Heh, heh, this topic reminds me of a very heated conversation Chris and I had in the early days of OnceWritten.com over the subject of mobile readers. :)
PJ, now that it's been a couple months, are you interested in posting any observations, results, other thoughts...
Sorry i didn't have an alert turned on for replies. Going well. Also recently published on Scrib.com - it gets more views but fewer sales, perhpas because its been a free medium until the past month or so.
Just to add to the conversation, JA Konrath is a marketing dynamo. He keeps his name everywhere and actively joins blogs, discussion groups, etc., etc.
